After studying music and philosophy, she trained at the \u00c9cole Sup\u00e9rieure Nationale des Arts de la Marionnette. Her practice is rooted in close collaborations with dancers, actors, artists, musicians and writers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: center;\">Over the past twenty-five years, her works have toured extensively throughout Europe and have also been regularly presented in Asia and the Americas, at leading theatres and festivals. Her works include Showroomdummies versions 1 to 5 (2001-2025), Apologize (2004), Kindertotenlieder (2007), Jerk (2008), This is how you will disappear (2010), LAST SPRING: A Prequel (2011), The Ventriloquists Convention (2015), Crowd (2017), L\u2019\u00c9tang (2021) and EXTRA LIFE (2023).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: center;\">In 2026, she creates Archives of Feelings at Schauspielhaus Z\u00fcrich. Her repertory works are performed by her company and are also part of the repertoires of Ballet de Lorraine, Rohm Theatre in Kyoto, Opera Ballet Vlaanderen and the Volksb\u00fchne in Berlin.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: center;\">She directed the films Brando (2014), Jerk (2021) and Kerstin Kraus (2024).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: center;\">Her contemporary artworks are held in collections and are regularly presented in solo exhibitions, including at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes in Buenos Aires, the Mus\u00e9e d\u2019Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, the Centre d\u2019Art Contemporain in Geneva, Haus am Waldsee and the Kolbe Museum in Berlin.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: center;\">She also regularly participates in group exhibitions in museums and institutions, including the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York, SITE Santa Fe International, the Fondation Vincent van Gogh and the Zacheta National Gallery of Art.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: center;\">She has published several artists\u2019 books, including <em>JERK \/ Through Their Tears <\/em>(2011), <em>40 PORTRAIT 2003-2008 (2012)<\/em> and <em>THIS CAUSES CONSCIOUSNESS TO FRACTURE <\/em>(2024). Her work has been the subject of numerous publication, and the original music her performance has been released on several albums.
